Ahmed Daoud is Head of Suez Canal Research Center since 2020. Main experience includes conducting
studies and researches related to Suez Canal waterway namely; planning development projects for the
navigational channel; design of bank protection works and mooring facilities; environmental studies related
to the waterway; geotechnical studies, material testing and quality control along the canal.

Ahmed was involved in variety of studies handling safety measures and improving navigation condition
along the canal (new Suez Canal, improving waterway cross section in the southern sector, enhancement
of the waiting areas). He was also involved in preparing the masterplan for Suez Canal area development
project (SCZone).

Mr. Ahmed DAOUD Currently, Mr. Daoud is a member of many committees responsible for Suez Canal waterway development
and he is Suez Canal representative in SCZone board membership.

Head of Research Center Mr. Daoud held a Phd in Maritime Engineering, Msc in hydroinformatics, and Msc in Structure Engineering.
